Neither. Computers were both around for them to do their work on. While Ritchie (and Kernighan) created C and were developers, Gates didn't really develop anything - he just assembled items that already existed and modified them somewhat.

I have Yahoo email service, and can no longer "cntrl c" to copy and transfer to Microsoft Word.?

After you highlight the text you want to copy, try floating your pointer in the highlight and right clicking - you should be able to copy from there. I've had the problem with Ctrl+C as well - it may be an IE7 thing, but I haven't been able to figure it out yet.

Reply:go to the insert menu, choose symbol, the find the copyright symbol in the chart. look to the lower right.

Reply:Go up to Insert (at the toolbar in the top), then to Symbol. You can scroll through the different characters, find the copyright symbol, and double click it to put it into your document. Hope that helps!

To compile C with Visual Studio:





On Project menu, click the xxxProperties... item. Somewhere among the many Property Pages options you'll see an item labeled "Compile as C++." You can change it to "Compile as C." Make sure that the extension of your source file has the ".c" extension, instead of the ".cpp" extension.

I'm usually copying a website URL from firefox, or some content. I do ctrl-c (and my content is definitely copied). When I go back to my opened outlook message and do ctrl-v, it sends the message around 1% of the time. Without the copied info, of course. And I'm not hitting ctrl-enter or alt-s.

Try using the mouse to left click copy/paste instead
