Do you mean delete a character that you just typed? If so:
Click just after of the letter you want to delete and press the Backspace button - the one that is above the enter key with an arrow on it like this %26lt;-------
If you want to delete a whole letter - the file - then you need to find where it is saved. You can look in you 'My Documents' file, or click on the 'Start' menu and select 'Search'. You can choose the option to search for word processing documents, and search for the name of the file. When you have found the file, right click on the icon and select delete. It will then go to your recycle bin on the desktop. You can then right click on the recycle bin icon and select 'empty recycle bin'.
Hope this helps :)
Guys how do i erase a letter in Microsoft word.(yep i really am that dumb on a P.C.!)?
yes your right there?
Reply:Sit your mouse pointer over the file, (wherever it is saved, without opening the document) and click your right mouse button, then choose 'delete' from the options.
Good luck, and I hope it's your letter you're deleting, although I doubt you could have composed it if you can't even delete it!
