Virus found but cannot be quarantined in C:\program files\microsoft\svhost32.exe?

I know i cannot del svhost32 altogether. I think it is a very imp system file or something. What should I do?


I have XP home addition.

run system file checker, that will replace the infected file with a good one

Reply:Be sure to turn off system restore and delete your old restore points. The virus can hide there. Turn it back on after the bug is gone.
Reply:You have been infected by the Yahoo Messenger virus attack. In order to undo the damage done, you need your original Windows install disk. You need to put this disk in and start your computer from scratch, and then from the CDs panel that will come up, re-install / repair the Windows installation on your machine. Then re-connect to Microsoft and download all the patches.





Install Comodo Anti-Virus and Comodo Firewall software on your computer as well, and you will be good to go.
