Why did MICROSOFT sneak spyware on our p.c. in our updates?
Thats the new update that they installed into your computer. Its not a spyware, its just a security update in case people are using a bootlegged CD.





How to get rid of the Microsoft Genuine check:


Lauch Windows Task Manager.


End wgatray.exe process in Task Manager.


Restart Windows XP in Safe Mode by hitting F8 during bootup.


Delete WgaTray.exe from c:\Windows\System32 by typing the following:


cd c:\windows\system32 %26lt;hit enter%26gt;


You should be at the system32 folder.


Type del wgatray.exe and then hit enter. (This will delete it)


Delete WgaTray.exe from c:\Windows\System32\dllcache by typing the following:


cd c:\windows\system32\dllcache %26lt;hit enter%26gt;


Type del wgatray.exe and then hit enter. (This will delete it)


*** Everything above will delete that pesky message that popups when youre in Windows mode ***


Type exit and hit enter and restart your computer to get to normal Windows Mode.


Launch RegEdit by going to start menu, then go to Run and type regedit.


Browse to the following location:


HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\


Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify


Delete the folder ‘WgaLogon’ and all its contents


Reboot Windows XP.

Reply:Some weeks ago I had a problem with my computer, it was slowing down and i couldn't explain why some websites where redirecting! Since I had a good (norton) antivirus system I did not think that I had spyware! , however a friend of mine came to my house and immediately told me that I had a spyware program, he entered into a site downloaded one of the free programs featured there and installed it on my computer, after running this program my computer is fast and downloading normally, whilst my homepage was also restored.
